Jamie's Italian Perth 2013

I cannot even tell you how excited about this and with it only being months away, Jamie’s Italian will officially open its doors in Perth’s CBD at 140 William St, The Mitchell Building in March woohoo!!

Jamie’s Italian has been operating successfully in Sydney for a few years now and from all reports is seriously amazing. The Perth restaurant no doubt will follow suit delivering a blend of delicious, authentic, quality Italian food at affordable prices.

Executive Chef of Sydney’s Jamie’s Italian, David Clarke will work closely with Perth’s Head Chef, Lorenzo Schiaffini who has previously worked in Jamie's Cambridge and Brighton sites to run the kitchen upon its opening.

Both chefs are currently finalising the menu, ensuring only the best seasonal produce is sourced locally and within Australia.

The menu will showcase a variety of pastas, authentic Italian mains and delicious antipasti made with well-sourced, quality, fresh and organic ingredients.

With recruitment well underway to achieve 100 staff, management is truly impressed with the genuine and experienced group who are already undergoing training in the lead up to the March opening.

Jamie’s Italian will be open seven days a week, for lunch and dinner, 11am to 10pm and although no date has been set let me tell you I cannot wait to try it!

Are you looking forward to the opening of Jamie's Italian? Have you visited his Sydney restaurant and what were your thoughts? I'd love to hear from you xxx

Pictures that Paint a Thousand Words......The Good Ol' Days

I don't normally post personal pieces about my family I like to keep the blog light, fun and to topic. However with the New Year just gone I found myself digging through old pictures and reminiscing of days gone by. The good ol' days, where worries were minimal, good times were on tap and responsibility was non-existent. I look back at these with the fondest of memories, at the people who shaped my life and made me the person I am today.

Here's a glimpse of just some of the ones I stumbled across. They feature my dear Avo, my grandmother, my angel who I miss every single day. They also feature my cousins who live far away on the Portuguese island of Madeira but are always in my heart. The last few feature my sisters, family and friends right here in Perth and the last one reminds me of the cheeky things we used to get up to.

Do you often take the time to look at how far you've come? Stop for a minute to see how much has changed? I do and it really made my heart explode. Explode from the most beautiful memories that will live forever in my heart.

Until next time xxx

Happy New Year - Hello 2013!!

Morning everyone and a very Happy New Year to all of you. As you read this I'm sure some of you are getting over last night's festivities or are preparing for the one of the many day events taking place all over Perth today.

Me, I'm planning on a day in the sunshine and reflecting on the year gone by. 2012 was a year where I achieved many of the goals I set myself and made some amazing friends. My job again introduced me to some amazing people, wonderful experiences and has given me memories to last a lifetime.

This year I have so much planned and I cannot wait to get started, until then I wish you all a fabulous New Year filled with good health, love, family and beautiful experiences. May it be everything you hope and dream of. xxx
